Oskar Gómez Mata pone alla porta del suo spettacolo uno strano cartellino di assenza: sono a messa, torno subito. Ed ecco convocata la metafisica: si parlerà dell’anima. Di quella degli uomini, ma anche di quella delle cose. Spunto della serata, l’animismo e tutto ciò che lo riguarda. Nulla di religioso viene tuttavia contemplato, dato che la compagnia L’Alakran interroga i nostri miti o luoghi comuni, tanto quanto ci fa ridere. Si potrebbe dire che questo teatro divaga e delira per liberarci dalle false idee di noi stessi. E che utilizza l’umorismo per portarci verso un nuovo patto con il palco. Momentaneamente. Il tempo di chiederci, per esempio: sarà che a furia di volersi salvare la faccia, si finisce con perdere l’anima?

Oskar Gómez Mata places on the door of his show a strange notice of absence: I am at Mass, come back soon. And here comes metaphysics: we will talk about soul. About men’s soul, but also about things’ ones. At the beginning of the evening, the animism and everything concerning. Anyway nothing religious is contemplated, because the Company L’Alakran questions our myths or commonplaces as well as it makes us laugh. We can say that this theatre wanders and is delirious to free us from the falses ideas of ourselves. And it utilizes humour to bring us to a new pact with the stage. Momentarily. Just the time to wonder, for example: do we want to save our face so hard, that in the end we lost our soul?
