The Fifth Sense è un percorso multisensoriale diviso in 5 performances per i 5 spazi di ZTT.
Ogni compagnia occupante ha interpretato in brevi mini-spettacoli uno dei sensi dell’essere umano, affidandogli il compito di guida attraverso la percezione, o viceversa scegliendo di escluderlo volutamente per mostrare le stesse cose da un’altra prospettiva.
Questo viaggio e l’ordine dei cinque sensi sarà scelto dal pubblico all’inizio.
Ci sarà anche il vostro autista in modo da poter semplicemente rilassarsi e divertirsi…

 

The Fifth Sense is a multisensory journey subdivided into five performances which take place in five different locations.
Each of the five participating Companies have created a short performance based on one of the human senses. The participants will experience not only a journey through the human body and its sensorial world, but also a journey through the city of Prato.
This journey and the order in which each of the senses will be experienced will be the public’s choice at the outset. We will also be your chauffeur so you can just relax and enjoy…

Books Wide Shut è un evento speciale, che noi di Zappa! Abbiamo deciso di regalarvi, perché ve lo meritate. A gruppi di 3, entrate dentro la Villa di Zappa!, non temete se non conoscete la parola d’ordine, chè “Fidelio” oramai è passata di moda, e lasciatevi trascinare dagli eventi. Starà a voi la scelta sulla vostra piccola morte: avvicinatevi, selezionate con cura, e poi chiudete gli occhi. Il resto lo facciamo noi. Un meccanismo facile, antico come il mondo, come le puttane, come la letteratura. Che dura il tempo di un brivido.

 

Books Wide Shut is a special event that Zappa! Decided to give you as a gift….because you deserve it. Small groups of 3 people will enter into Zappa! Space. You don’t need to know the password to go through the door. Just follows the flow! You then get to choose your little death: come closer, select with care and shut your eyes. We will do the rest. This a simple game, old like the world, like the whores, like literature. It lasts just the time of a shiver.

I SENSI DEL TEATRO/THE SENSES OF THEATRE

I sensi del teatro è uno spettacolo che ha un’unica condizione di partenza: non vedere. Gli spettatori verranno bendati e condotti attraverso una coinvolgente esplorazione sensoriale: i sensi intesi come possibilità di conoscere noi stessi e gli altri; i sensi come strumenti di appartenenza e non di esclusione; i sensi come responsabilità, come percezione, come caratteristiche di quello che siamo; i sensi come valorizzazione delle nostre abilità e non come negazione. I sensi come qualcosa che ci unisce.

 

The blindfolded audience will be guided through a powerful sensorial exploration. Senses grant us the possibility to know ourselves and others. Senses are vehicles for connecting with each other rather than remaining separate; senses as responsibility, perception, essence of ourselves, senses as an enhancement rather than a limitation of our possibilities. Senses are unifying.

MADELEINE

Madeleine è un viaggio nel tempo alla ricerca dei ricordi. Tramite l’olfatto il senso più primitivo e istintuale, il pubblico sarà guidato attraverso un’emozionante esperienza evocativa, durante la quale verranno recuperati ricordi antichi e creati di nuovi. Una performance da respirare col naso all’insù, un percorso sensoriale per riscoprire la potenza della nostra memoria olfattiva.

 

Madeleine is a journey through time, searching for memories. The scent is the most primitive of all the senses, it is related to instinct. The audience will be guided through an intensely evocative experience, where old memories will come to the surface. Madeleine is a performance to be inhaled with your nose. It is a powerful journey to discover the strength of our olfactory memory.

SLICE OF GESTURE

Il cibo come esperienza sensoriale che risveglia immagini e ricordi. Il corpo danzante traduce le suggestioni in movimento. Slice of Gesture è un lavoro di ricerca sulle possibilità siestetiche del gusto. Ecco che l’atto creativo di preparare il cibo, si traduce nell’atto creativo della danza dove il ponte fra questi due momenti si trova tra la bocca e il cuore di chi si lascia attraversare dai sapori.

 

In this work Food is presented as a sensorial experience, capable of awakening images and memories. A dancing body translates the participant’s suggestions into movement. Slice of Gesture is a research work investigating the synesthetic possibilities of the sense of Taste. The creative action of preparing food is translated in the creative action of dance. The connection between these two moments lies between the mouth and the heart of whoever wishes to partake in this journey.

Il massaggio con i Gong Planetari avviene di buio, a lume di candela e profumo d’incenso! Tutti insieme in cerchio, distesi o seduti. L’incontro consiste in una breve presentazione, per poi lasciarsi andare al mare di profonde vibrazioni che scaturiscono dai Gong Planetari, dalle Campane Tibetane, dal Canto armonico e da altri Strumenti ancestrali. In questa esperienza il con-TATTO dei GONG farà Percepire, Lasciare andare, Rigenerare. Questo bagno Armonico TOCCA il corpo, la mente e l’anima.
Nell’immaginazione asiatica l’uomo è nato dal suono e quindi è suono.

The Sound Massage using the Planetarian Gongs takes place in dim candle light with burning incense. The participants sit or lie together in one big circle. A short presentation will be followed by the wave of deep vibrations emitted from the Planetarian Gongs, Tibetan Bells, Armonic Chant and other ancestral instruments. The Contact with the Congs eill encourage Perception, Relaxation, Purification. This Harmonic Immersion eill touch your body as well as you mind and soul. Man is born from the sound and then is sound.
