Il "Quaderno rosso" è un quaderno di appunti su cui il regista Massimiliano Civica ha trascritto frasi, aneddoti, riflessioni e pensieri di personaggi di teatro e cinema: Stanislawskji, De Filippo, D'Amico, Renoir, Moscato...
Nel medioevo, quando c'era una decisione difficile da prendere, si apriva a caso per tre volte il Vangelo, e, leggendo i passi, si traeva ispirazione: erano le "Sortes Apostolarum".
Aprendo a caso il Quaderno il regista comporrà un viaggio/conversazione nella storia del teatro a partire dalle suggestioni delle testimonianze lette. Le "Sortes Teatrorum" dunque, con la speranza che il Caso sia favorevole alla realizzazione di una serata di riflessione e divertimento.

In the middle ages, when there was a tough decision to take, the Gospel was randomly opened three times and, reading the passages, the inspiration was drawn: these were called the "Sortes Apostolarum".
Opening at random the Notebook the director compose a trip/conversation in history of theatre from the suggestions of the testimonies read. The "Sortes Teatrorum" then, with the hope that the Case will be favourable to the realization of an evening of reflection and amusement.
